Amber Heard and Tesla tech CEO Elon Musk have split after a yearlong romance, US Weekly “can confirm.”
“The timing wasn’t good for them,” a source told Us. “He’s super busy and works all the time. Amber is filming [‘Aquaman’] in Australia until October. She’s in no position to settle with him. She feels her career is just starting.”
So are the snarky comments on the actress once married to Johnny Depp.
On Twitter, someone using the name of Tegan Jovanka — “a fictional character played by Janet Fielding in the long-running British science fiction television series ‘Doctor Who’ — started a poll.
“Who will Amber Heard go for next?” is the question.
As of noon Monday, the leader was Stephen Hawking, ahead of Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch.
The New York Daily News notes that Heard and Musk first met in 2013 on the set of “Machete Kills” and began dating shortly after Heard, 31, filed for divorce from Depp after 15 months of marriage.
“Musk, who is worth an estimated $13.3 billion and co-founded Paypal, finalized his divorce from his second wife, ‘Pride & Prejudice’ actress Talulah Riley, in November.”
But Musk is best known now for his Tesla car company and his private rocket firm SpaceX, based in Hawthorne.
